I got caught chewing gum in Chorus on Friday and in my school that's like a sin.
No chewing gum is like numero uno.
Well, anyway he sent me to the offic and I got detenion.
So, I had to go back to class and when I did he ripped up the detention slip.
Because I'm a good singer he gave me a warning.

Oh, and my cousin's in the same class as me and she got a detenion for being a smarta.ss and she got 6 months house arrest because she like never came to school last year.
She was beyond pissed.
I felt bad because he didn't give me the detention and she did.
Do you think that's fair, because I don't think it is.

judgment of adults is based on ratios, not absolutes. Thus minor offensives are more forgiveable than major offenses. Skipping school = skipping work in an adult's mind,
and smarting off = assault/getting fired for adults.
chewing gum has no meaning in most professions, except a few business environments, where it is "unprofessional" and entirely depends on the work policy (like some jobs care if you shave or dye your hair, or wear a tie, while others don't).
school rules are designed to prepare you for job rules, good and bad alike.

Seems like missing school is more 'Numero Uno' than chewing gum my friend. At least you are putting the time in to your school years.

well those are 2 way totally different things. She skipped school, you were chewing gum. You should've got the detention, but sometimes there are favorites.

Rules are rules. The teacher should have never sent you to the office if he/she was gonna tare it up. And as for your cousin that's worse then chewing gum. You play you pay!

yeah you should of got detention but then teachers are all the same when it coems to there favorite students they bed the rules because you ae a good singer,talented sportsman etc

some adult males merely be attentive to the thank you to make me experience happy and significant. they simply have a cool approach and are very chill out (?). they're so freaking staggering because of the fact they be attentive to the thank you to handle us chicks. Why?
