These are words, romance, beautiful, mysterious, finite, even relationship.
All these words have different meanings in a setting, with a person, and in ones mind. They are words that can conquer up exquisite scenarios, but it is still illusionary.
How much projection is put into these moments, that are really just been playing out in front of us.
What is real, (held together with the glue of universal love) can be romantic, eternal, soulful, have ultimate meaning and be beautiful)
From reading about you Rena, I feel your relationships are not just romantic love, the need within most people today is for more than the fluffy, sighing, he loves, he dosen't love me, type of carry on.
I am over the idea that romantic love is part of what is missing in a real life. I feel that one needs this major part of your energy, time, commitment and consideration to be that, a major instrument to bring healing, peace within, love for all, movement in the same direction, relative to spiritual growth, a sameness in values, goals and aspirations for self and others.
Have you read the Mists of Avalon.

*Sweety when something as beautiful as true love comes into one's life it is only to be expected that we would want it to last forever! That doesn't mean it will or it does't mean that it can! If we just enjoy everyday that the love has it's beauty that is enough! When the beauty is no longer there the romance will be gone and that romance that we were in hopes would endure may come to an abrupt end*

Me thinks you think too much - people are individuals and even though many have tried before you, they cannot be labelled and categorised so easily.
Romantic love can be beautiful - it may not last but it can be beautiful while it does.
I am more interested in the Infinite - it has always been more reliable.
So I think we may or may not agree.

Yes, most people search for love that is true, everlasting and ceases to flicker it's flame of faithfulness and love.
The fact that people want romance, but they also want love that goes on forever, that rivers simply couldn't quench the deep love that one has for the other..That they are cherished and a priceless treasure.

I agree completely. And even if you get lucky and do find that perfect soulmate, there's no guarantee that it'll last.
