He's married to somone else..doesnt have a job.....sounds like a "right catch" - no - his wife doesnt have to pay for the child, what a slap in the face that would be?

No. I suggest you pay for your own child since you were the one who slept with a married man and then decided to keep the baby.

I think the homewrecker is out of luck. The wronged wife isn't responsible to pay for the man's mistakes. Sadly, the poor resulting child will be left out in the cold. How sad for him.

Doubt that! I would not pay my cheating lying husbands child support! I would have resolved the marriage the MINUTE I found out he had someone else pregnant.. NO QUESTIONS! File child support on him and if he doesn't pay it, I know in my state, There will be HELL to pay! He'll wish he did.

No the wife does not pay the child support. The courts will go by HIS ability to pay (ie past work experience, schooling etc) and if you don't work, they will make you work.
At even zero income (they dont count the wife's income) you will still have a child support order. (IE, My ex husband who didnt show to court and we had no clue on income or employment,the court had set his income to zero and his order was for 340 per month).
They will take the childs mother's income as well as YOUR income to calculate the monthly support order. If you dont pay, you get your dl taken, still dont pay, they will offset your taxes, still dont pay, you will go to jail.

HELL NO she doesn't pay the support, and she shouldn't have to either. Too bad so sad for the home wrecker that got herself involved with a married bum. I hope this question is for a friend, and not for you. That's shameful

No, the child support is based on his ability to pay. His job, not hers. You had a baby by another woman's husband and you expect her to pay you, too? What chutzpah!

no she threatens to tell his wife unless he pays her and he still has to pay child support.....duuuh it doesn't matter if he doesn't have a job a judge can court order him to get one if the mother gets custody of the child
