before answering a question do you read what others have wrote first, i never do i always submit one before i read it, though sometimes people have wrote almost the same thing as me ..... :)

Like you, I answer first and ... sometimes ... look later. I like to think I can contribute something witty, intelligent and original.

Sometimes, but I look at the askers profile first. Normally the question is provocative or unusual to attract my attention. If it's too odd I will check the profile to see if it looks like a Troll or juvenile.
If the question is starred or asked by one of my trusted sources then I answer right away. If the question is......iffy I'll check to see what others have said.
I always answer from my experience or knowledge.

Depends on the question...if it is a very general question & I am just going to possibly give the same answer, then yes I will read down the answers. But, if it is a very interesting question that I want to answer, then I won't & I won't care if I happen to answer something similar to someone else :-)

Sometimes I have a quick look and dont bother if my answer has appeared ten times before. Other times I just have to answer, I cant help myself, regardless of what has come before. Other times an answer prompts me to give an even stronger answer than I had intended!

Yes especially science ones, good answers thumbs up so i don't answer.
