If you knew you only had 24 hours to live, then where would you go, what would you do, and how????

You forgot to ask, 'who would you do it with'? ☺

Right now? There hasn't been anybody terribly special in my life for a year or so (except my daughter, and she has her own life and family and lives a long way away). I'd just probably get a case of good Scotch, a carton of smokes, prop my feet up on the porch railing, and enjoy the Afternoon, the Sunset, the Night, the Sunrise, and the next Morning.

I would go to first Mass with family and friends. Visit my son and fathers grave. Pray. Go to the shore here and look over the Irish sea. Spend a few hours in pray to thank God for my life.
I would confess my sins, and hopefully would be in heaven an hour before the devil knew I was dead.

I would go to my family and friends for one last time and spend the day with them giving what I thought had meaning to who I wanted to have it before I went to this park that I love that has a great view of the city. I'd probably be pretty instant that when I died I died alone so I wouldn't have to see the faces of people who cared about me. Sounds mean but I wouldn't want that.

I will just go on with my life, the way I had planned it before I knew of the 24-hour deadline.

why?

because I have prepared for it everyday of my life. remember the saying, LIVE EVERYDAY AS IF THAT IS YOUR LAST.

if you do just that, there's no need to panic. you have told everyone you love how they meant to you. you have said your thanks and sorry to whom they are due.

so may be, just a little extra time at prayer and goodbyes. and a little more time to eat my favorite foods.

I would go to my best friends house and get my family and her family together ( we are all very close) and have some good food and share some laughs be with the people that mean the most to me
