Actually, I was trying to order pizza and no one would answer. I had to call in a different Pizza Hut.

Pizza Hut has a website let allows you to order online. No more talking to stupid people who mess up your order. I have used this several times and never had a problem.

Having worked at a pizza place... for 13 years, I can help you understand... maybe.

1. They were WAY busy at the time you called... try again in 10 minutes. It really DOES happen. Exactly when did you call for your order? During the super rush? Fri/Sat nights... their busiest nights? During some special event weekend... i.e. homecoming, big game, holiday... etc?
2. Frankly, saying Papa John's is better is no skin off of PHut's nose. The person answering would likely say (after you hang up, of course) "Go ahead, call THEM!"
3. According to corporate "policy" the phones should be answered before the 5th ring. Doesn't sound like a lot, but it can seem like a long time to be ringing. One place I worked at, the manager wanted the phones answered BEFORE the SECOND RING... which means... 1 ring... ANSWER! That's NOT standard, that's ABOVE standard.
4. If you were totally unhappy with your experience, PHut does have an online website where you can complain. And... trust me... if you do, that complaint REALLY DOES go RIGHT DOWN to that store IMMEDIATELY!!! One of the WORST things a manager wants to see on his/her desk/computer is a complaint from "corporate" ... which is what the website will do. If you want to be happily rewarded, instead of complaining... COMPLIMENT. Tell PHut's website which Hut GAVE you the service you wanted... or whatever... guess what will happen? You will find an envelope in the mail (down the line) with a coupon for a complimentary FREE pizza! It might pay you better to COMPLIMENT than to complain.

Anyhow... I hope this does help explain what happened. Don't give up on the whole chain because of the bad behavior of a few. Remember, they ARE franchised, and sometimes some of the franchises are not well managed... although they try their best, everyone is still human.

Everyone is entitled to my opinion.

I truly have a love hate relationship with Domino's. yet in simple terms using fact of Pizza Hut. Domino's pizza is okay. yet Pizza Hut rocks! i'm already drooling! there is the psychology concept that the colour crimson (Pizza Hut- hint hint) induces starvation. Plus as i've got pronounced Pizza Hut's pizza is the superb. hence I chosen to eat Domino's using fact i'm already gruesome. do no longer might desire to be fat too! lol!

Pizza Hut isn't that great. I would just eat at Papa John's forever and move on. :)

I think they closed down before their paid in advance commercials played out, after everyone knew Papa Johns was better.

You'll have to broaden things for a business to contact you. That is if you haven't already done so. Don't just bash them. Offer constructive critisism. Tell them what angered or upset you. Be detailed. While they may not like what you have to say, most business react better to sugar than they do vinager.

Maybe they are out bringing pizza to people, so they're too busy to answer. Or maybe your one opinion could count for crap to them as they are a huge multi corporation and your one opinion means zip to them. Start sending email in mass amounts every day for a month then watch what happens!
