Probably because the Democrats aren't responsible for the senseless war in Iraq, the destruction of our foreign alliances, the pitiful state of our economy,(owned by China), or the waste of the record surplus funds in our 'non-deficit' economy that Bush inherited from the Clinton Administration.
I'm just guessing !!
LoL.

It has to do with the overarching narrative that the public has about politicians that the media plays off of. People are more likely to watch news that they agree with, and the generally held belief is that the Republicans are more racist and sexist than the Democrats, so a story about a Republican sounding racist or sexist is more likely to be picked up by the media.
On the other hand, the media gives Republicans a free pass on lots of other issues that they grill the Democrats on. For example, during 2004 news reports like "George Bush is vacationing at his ranch in Crawford, Texas and John Kerry is vacationing in his multi-million dollar vacation home in Massachusetts." were common. The fact that George Bush's "ranch" is also a multi-million dollar vacation home was completely ignored, mostly because it didn't fit with popular perception or the general narrative.

I assume when you use the term "media" you are not including Fox News. Actually, I think we see what we want to see in the media we watch or listen to. For example, I think the media has treated Bush much better than he has deserved. When you look at all of the mistakes his administration has made on major issues that will affect our country for years, he has gotten off very well. Neither he nor his administration has held a single person accountable for a single mistake.

The media are interested in what gets them the most readers/viewers and now days that is reporting on anti-republican/pro-democrat stories. This i find to be ironic seeing most major players in the media world tend to have Right wing/republican believes but are so capitalist they care more about making money then standing for what they believe in. or we can just blame Rupert Murdock works over here in the UK.

Black people vote disproportionately for Democrats, and as such, Democrats are more able to speak on behalf of black people than Republicans, who often do not take the interests of Black America into account when they campaign (let alone govern). If anything, Republicans are caught complaining about how Democrats "pander to the black vote." Well, it doesn't take much pandering when you have a party that surrounds itself with the likes of Fox News. Take a look.

It's incredibly overwhelming the left-leaning biasness that is in the Mainstream Media!! You said it! Double standards galore!! Makes me sick! They know what they're doing - trying to control and sway the American public!

I can't answer as to the why, since it makes no sense that most media doesn't appear to love their country, but would rather tear America apart, even using lies to attempt it.
All I can say is, THANK GOD for FOX NEWS!!!

absolutely..its called liberal media bias and has been around since the johnson administration...its real, deadly and obviously from your commentary here, out of touch....you cant do much to get rid of it as it feeds sensationalism and therefore sales. advertisers love it so it stays. doesnt make it right, just makes it continue.
