NO IT IS NOT POSSIBLE to connect them directly: Hi-Fi speakers need power to drive them. Computer speakers usually have an amplifier in one of them(the one you plug into the mains power) so the computer is only driving the amplifier. You can connect your comp to your Hi-Fi using the 3.5mm jack line out and terminate in 2 DIN plugs (left and right channel)which should fit into the back of your Hi-Fi. Usually the AUX sockets. Check your sound control on your comp to see what inputs/outputs are ticked (or unticked)

Yes you can connect hifi speakers to a pc using appropriate cables, however you must match the output impedance of the headphones socket on your pc with the input impedance of the speakers or else the sound quality will be poor, also be careful not to over drive the power amp stage of your pc audio output or it may overheat

Just plug 'em into the speaker jack on the PC, you'll need a splitter for the second speaker and keep them at least 18ins from the monitor as they won't be shielded.
