Your husband isn't committed to you and your family....He is a grown man and should be acting accordingly. I wouldn't tolerate my husband treating me this way. Of course not all men behave this way...only the immature ones that have not grown up or still have the peter pan syndrome....such as your husband appears to have....you need to have a serious talk with him about this....if he refuses to grow up and be a husband and father to his family...show him the divorce papers.

i am not going to put any ideas in your head (though u should be suspecting things by now lady) but i will tell you this, you should never...ever, accept this type of behavior. next time your hubby comes home, sober, sit him down and have a talk with him. make sure u are calm, collected and chill. tell him his recent behavior has changed, ask why he doesnt eat at home or help out around the house. listen to his answer, and i mean, really listen. then tell him that he needs to help, and that is the bottom line. then, see if his behavior changes, if not then guess what? one of those nights, call him up early at work tell him not to have plans for that night, because he will be babysitting while u go out for happy hours with your girlfriends. brotha man is going to be choked at the idea, shocked i am telling you, and will probably will say "u cant do that" and have a fit, but u know what..tell him that if he can do wahtever he wants, so can you and then make sure u mean bussiness. once he come home from work, shower, do ur hair, dress up cute and go out with your girls and spend some quality time with them. ur husband needs to spend time with his child too, so dont feel bad doing this ok? good luck.:)

Not a woman here but I feel as though I can answer this as well as any woman can. No, not all men will do this. If I were you I would begin to suspect something. The longer that you let this go on before confronting him, the worse that you can expect it to get. Get those keys back and keep them with you. I have heard of this ploy being done so that the wife cannot go looking for the guy. Gain back your self respect and find out what this guy is up to.

Mine doesn't act like that; in fact, he prefers to come home and spend time with me. Sounds like yours may be going through that 'mid-life crisis' and it has me concerned. The signs are showing that he may be looking for something else or someone else. Have you sat down and talked to him? Not yelled or blamed or accused, but had a heart-to-heart talk about how his actions are making you feel. He may need some ego-boasting and is looking for it in all the wrong places. No, he should not be doing what he is doing without fear that you will no longer want him. Stand up and take some action now, before it is too late.

No, not all men are selfish controlling creeps like that, but there are a lot more frogs than princes.
Judging from what you have written, it's time to get a divorce honey. Don't try to "make it work" because of your child. Your husband's actions prove he has no intention of putting any effort into his relationship with you or the child.
Don't drag it out any longer because only you and your child will suffer.

Sounds like a cheater having a mid-life crisis. Taking your car keeps you under control and right where he wants you. The fact that all his friends are single or divorced is also a bad sign.
Don't make the meals, treat him with the same amount of consideration he treats you. Start to get a life without him.
Good luck, you deserve more.

I lived with a guy for 3 years, he did the same thing. I paid all the bills and did all the work while he ran around. He still had sex with me, especally after he had been out all night. I trusted him to a fault, one day I got a phone call and sure enough he was cheating. I forgave him and stayed with him for another year and a half but it was never the same. I was a nervous wreck waiting for him to come home, I was always phoning him wanting to know where he was or when he was coming home. Finally we split, the day he walked out the door I felt like the wait of the world was lifted off my shoulders. I found out about alot of other women after he left, I started to feel like a fool but you know what the one he cheated with that I knew about first, is with him now. Surprise he has cheated on her already, so now she is the one waiting for him to come home. BOL to her! I met a great guy who treats me like a princess and I never have to wonder where he is at or when he is coming home.

Not all men do it, but some of them do. My husband went through a phase where he wanted to go out with his single friends once a week. That didn't work long. If people don't want to be married they should get out of the relationship, but it is wrong for a married man to go out all the time.

Not all men do this. Time to give him an ultimatum.. it's either us (meaning you and your child) or he can be on his own. my ex the worthless waste of skin did that all of the time. he didn't think there was anything wrong... It's time for him to shape up or ship out.. he's got choices... Give him some space to go out once in a while with the guys but 5-6 nights a week is way to often and to suspicious to me.

NO, not all men do that. I don't and I love my wife so much. I very much enjoy spending every minute I can with her. She lights up my life. That is terrible what you are going through. It's time to have a talk with this guy and maybe even a divorce lawyer. Get your keys back to your car and don't give them back to him. Your husband is awful. (smile) God loves you and has better things in store for you.
