When the god Zeus was around, was Mt. Vesuvius still around?

Since Zeus is an immortal it is a sure thing that He was around. Mount Vesuvius was also around, but it was in the area of Roman Gods. Vesuvius was in southern Italy on the eastern shore of the Bay of Naples, it is still there.

What makes you think that Zeus is no longer around?
I admit he has been a little quiet lately, so have all gods of all religions for that matter.
As for Mt Vesuvius..... Still there.
