We humans tend to seperate when we think of each other by race or religion. If we thought of ourselves as humans on planet Earth I think we would find we have more in common than we find we have differences.

Think of the possibilities of a world working together.

If humans were able to look beyond race and simply see a human, our unity would definitely be tighter. We would not be at war with ourselves over petty things like race and color. We could give each other an equal opportunity, which would allow those who have underestimated because of race and background to shine and prosper. The world would undoubtedly be a better place.

We need to identify ourselves as animals living on planet Earth. In doing so, we will respect every other living and non-living things. There would be no need for religion. Only then, would peace be an attainable goal.

races are only for the sake of identification and references.there is nothing bad in it.humanity is itself a race in broader spectrum.the problem is we make it a source of differences and divisions.yes the world would definitly a better place if we identify ourselves as human first.

yes, the world would be a better place all around if people could look beyond what they just see. and not just race/religion: gender, and even age too. i really like it and respect people when they see me as a PERSON first and secondly as a girl and a 13-year-old. if you give everyone an equal chance, no matter WHAT they are, you might be able to get to know someone better for WHO they are.

Quite correct. The universe is, in totality, one being/consciousness. Each of "us" everywhere is a "cell" of that being. Thus we are all, everywhere, linked and part of "the One". Humans, and others, probably, lack the awareness, usually, to experience that fact. And, they have a knack for separative thinking and distinctions.

When one *experiences* the reality of the "Oneness", a huge leap in understanding (and behavior) automatically comes about. One day, more or less all humans will have the experience.

Yes it would be better, because the minute we put ourselves in categories or groups we necessarily have to exclude others or even hate others just to maintain our 'groupness'. One Planet. One Race. Peace brother (or sister).

Of course that is correct, but what I sense you miss and maybe most do is that very need to identify ourselves with anything.

Cheers!

I don't think there is any such thing as "race" - yes it would be better, but being human, we would find some other way to screw it up.
