If you have a "clean out", somewhere located on the drain tile, pull the cap and see if you have water. If so, the sewage drain is clogged. You will have to rent a snake, or hire a drain cleaning company to do it for you.

Often times it is tree roots that plug up main drainage pipe going out. If that is the case you would need to find the main drain access cover and rent a rooter to clear the lines. The other alternative is to pull up the toilet and run the rooter down that pipe and hope you get a clear shot. Either way, it can be a messy job. The time, uncertainty and cost of renting a rooter is about what it would cost to hire a plumber to do the job.

You got a main line clog, if the 'snake' won't work you need to get a professional to unclog it. Call around from the yellow pages unless you have had a friend that knows a good plumber. Each plumber charges differently and its a lot cheaper to get one to come Monday morning than to work on Sunday afternoon!!

There is a bottle of compressed air that you can get at a lot of hardware stores all you have to do is put it up to the drain and press the button to release the air the compression inside blows the plugged part out

I agree with the first three answers. Also, if you have a septic tank, it may be full. If you don't have a septic tank, then there probably is a blockage between the kitchen and the sewer line in the street. Call a plumber...

There is a clog or blockage in the main sewer pipe coming from your home. (The pipe all drains empty into.) You can rent a snake, but this is pretty gross work. Hire a plumber. You can do this yourself, but it is nasty. Good luck!

Remove the drain traps ('S') or the plug on them, and whup a snake down them. If you hire a plumber, that's what he'll
do. Snakes are relatively cheap at your local hardware.

you have a house stoppage and the stppage must be cleared with a snake.
If you have a clean out, all well and good.
If not remove the toilet bowl and clear through the bowl waist.
Can't do it, call a sewer cleaning company.
