Ending illegal immigration and securing our borders. The negative impact increases the burdens on lower and middle class taxpayers and worsens the situations with health care, overburdened education systems, law enforcement, court and penal systems, etc. No amnesty for millions of illegals who would then draw SS retirement after only paying a few years. A fund which has yet to be tapped much by the baby boomers who have paid in their entire adult lives.
The economy would become beneficial for Americans replacing illegals in jobs at decent wages, not just the corporations and wealthy. In addition, the money would remain in our economy and not be sent out of the nation by illegals. Income taxes received would increase as the Americans wouldn't be working under the table, increasing funding for social programs.

The economy. The National Debt is about 9 trillion dollars. And it accumulates compound interest. $9,000,000,000,000.00 is hard to visualize so here's a good way of thinking about it. If I gave you one million dollars every DAY, starting on January 1st of the year 1 A.D., I would finish paying off the US National debt in the year 24,000 or so. We're leaving our children's generation enough debt to swallow this country whole.

Corruption, especially at the state and local levels. If you cannot rely on those salaries are paid by our taxes not to use their positions to self-deal to promote the financial interests of their families and friends, then we have serious problems.
