I love the first few chills in the Autumn months. I love the early sunsets and the long nights. I love the smell of leaves being burned and firewood being chopped. I love the memories of Friday-night high school football games.
Everything seems ready to slow down and sleep, but not until the last surge of energy is released into the world around us. It's a great time to watch life.

I like how beautiful the leaves are. I love driving through the countryside and observing landscapes of different colored leaves. I also love the golden-brown glow that seems to illuminate the afternoon when you're taking a stroll through the woods or a treelined street. On top of that, the weather is nice...not too cold, not too hot, but cool enough that you can comfortably wear your new fall/winter fashions without sweating.

Where i live is some of the most beautiful fall foliage that you ever you ever laid your eyes upon and i love it. The weather is bearable. We get about 350 trick or treaters, Party's at the Church for the Children , Party at my daughters' learning center. We have the Jenny Wiley Festival, an Apple Festival in a county that is 10 minutes away.Yeah is a fun time.........

For me, it's the weather! It's perfect! Autumn is also my favorite season in general!

all of it, I can remember getting ready to go back to school, new shoes, beautiful weather, the crisp mornings....new friends, just a feeling of renewal, savoring the last few days before winter sets in, to have another chance at a good school year. The approaching holidays...I love autumn!!!!

the Harvest
it is the season where the richness of the Planet we live on is given to us humans from a lot of the productive things in nature
pumpkins squash apples pears seeds
and
all the holidays start again beginning with Halloween after the long summer rest

It just feels better for some reason....and zips by until next year. I am always looking forward to it.....and the worst things in my life have all happened in autumn....strange.

Halloween (my most favorite)
the crisp cool air
the beautiful leaves
wearing colorful sweaters
having my brown hair match the brown leaves
tons of birds migrating south
squirrels trying to find as much food as they can before winter
the downside though is that I have fall allergies :-(
