Colloquial wisdom would have us believe that the child we were is still a part of us. Yet, examining my adolescent writings, I do not recognize the author.

Do we have an unchanging core?

yes, the child in us is still there, hidden in the unconscious self.

you do not recognize them because you have pushed that "you" somewhere deep, behind your work, family and other pressures of the adult world.

yes, everyday, we are a changed person because of what happened yesterday and just a minute ago. but that does not mean that we have lost that person, it's still there. thanks to memory.

Yes, i believe that each individual has a constancy within him. That little childhood we have gone through will is permanently embedded on oneself. It will remain a good memory that will serve as good thoughts we are going to cherish until our last breath.

Thanks to your question. Have a great day!

When you lose sight of your inner child, you lose an integral part of your own beginning. Until you can unite all aspects of the self you remain incomplete.
