It depends on the college you plan on going to. For some it is required, and others it is recommended but not required.

Weall, I 'member in the gud ol' days, we only tooken calc in college.
And I don't think any business major has a need for calculus. Most places where it might be used to derive results, business people don't have to derive results, just use the formulas.

Oh yeah ofcourse, and as far as i know u go only to calc 1 in business. I am a senior too and i took calculas last yr, this yr i wanted to take AP to get the college credits, but my counselor declinded it. Hate him!! anyways though, yeah u gotta calc in college, its a necessity bro..u know all those graphs dealing with the sales, merchandise n stuff, all come in calculas. :)

i didn't have to take calculus at all--and I'm less than 8 classes from graduation with a BS in Business Forensics

my husband has a BBA in accounting and never took calculus. it all depends on the university

i dun think so... i'm doing a marketing degree and i've never seen calculus in my whole life.. however, my bro who did engineering had to study a bit of calculus..
