Hey. Rowena is an okay name but I like Rowan much better. I don't like Etheldreda and I don't think I know how to pronounce it. Maud is a little boring and all of these names are a little on the old side. Sorry. Just not my taste. Hereward I have never heard of before. Gurth I have never heard before. Harold is okay but again, a little old fashioned and he would get Harry. I think a lot of these names have the potential to be picked on. Sorry.. but keep trying. I notice that you always have different names in your questions.. that's awesome.

Rowena is pretty. Maud might be an interesting choice.
Ethelreda? No. Ethel? Maybe.
The boys' names puzzle me. Harold is, obviously, a recognizable name, and I'm just wild about Harry for a nickname. But Gurth and Hereward? No.

All of them are awful! How would you like to be called Maud or Rowena, the other one i dont even know what it is but try to learn to spell it when you are 4 or 5. An Harold or Hereward are you kidding?

Okayy...Rowena and Harold.
Just think of the baby in the next 20 years introducing themselves as Ethelrdrida and Hereward. "Sorry, What was that??" Or getting their name called in class and getting it constantly mispronounced on attendance lists. There are some kids who would make fun of a name like Gurth, unfortunately, and it could hurt little Gurth's self-esteem.
If you really like those names, use as a middle name. that way, your baby has an option to use it or not.

Rowena- my favorite of these names
Eltheldreda- no, how do you pronounce that?
Maud- no, I don't like it
Hereward- no
Gurth- not too bad but I still don't like it
Harold- best boy name you listed
overall I feel bad for the baby who gets any of these names. Maybe you should try some more modern names. Or change the names you have now just a little like Rowena to Rowan or some thing.

Rowena for a girl isn't bad.
For the guys names though, why not just name him 'kick me in the face'? Go with a strong name for the guy like Lance or Frank, or even Sylvester Stallone.

I like Rowena the best out of the girls' names ... but that's a stretch. 'Harry Potter' readers would think you took the name from there. And the boys' names ... a little stinky. No offense.

Consider Rowan Maeve for a girl and Griffith, Gunther or Gareth for a boy with middle name Heath or Heaton. Sorry it's the best I could come up with for the boys. I really love the name Maeve and Rowan isn't bad either.
