Fill the resivor with vinegar. Run the coffee maker through a regular brewing cycle. Then run several resivors full of water to rince the vinegar away.

1/2 vinegar and 1/2 water. then run water through it about two more times

Cleaning this part of the pot is important. It never gets dry. Use the vinegar solution above. Don't forget to rinse.
