Try checking out of a hotel in the Loire region of France and having to explain that you bought the $100 bottle of champagne and not the $600 bottle of Crystal without being able to speak French.

I used to think that about my spanish class but now I livein Spain I wish I had paid more attention. You never know where life is taking you.

i don't understand why you say its not useful, it is if you go to countries that speak French.
