American policy is and has been for a long time, we do not negotiate with terrorists/kidnappers/hijackers. I would hope that goes for anyone taken. If it's good enough for the general public, it should be good enough for the first family. Don't mean to sound cold, just the facts.

Hmmm... good question. Probably not officially, but the President would probably offer his own money or resources, not the country's. Also it would be really hard to kidnap his daughter because the Secret Service has some pretty ballin' stuff.

this isa horrible thiuhgt; whatever would happen, sure thing is thousands of inoc bystandrs "casualts of war"would die in process, its unthinkable!!
