Newton was the author of the 'Principia' where he published his work on dynamics (Motion, Gravity).
During the Great Plague he lived in Woolsthrope Manor near Grantham, where the 'apple fell on his head'. Whilst everone understood objects fell to the ground (gravity), Newton stated that two objects moved towards each other. The apple moved towards the earth - understood, but also the earth moved towards the apple. His work (The Universal Laws of Dynamics) were built on work by two predecessors. Johannes Kepler who studied the motion of bodies through the heavens (space), and Galileo who studied motions of bodies on earth (gravity and pendulii).
Newton gave us three Laws of Dynamics :-
1. A body continues at rest or in motion unless a force acts upon it.
2. Force is equal to mass multiplied by acceleration.
3. To every force there is an equal and opposit force.
Newton, also studied the splitting of white light in to the 'colours of the rainbow'. His treatise on this is called 'Optics'. He also invented the Reflecting Telescope.
Finally, he invented the mathematical principle of Calculus. There is some dispute over this with German mathematician Liebnitz. It is generally, understood that Newton invented calculus before Liebnitz, but published his work after Liebnitz.
Born 4 Jan 1642 (Woolsthorpe) died 31 Mar 1727 (London).
Remained single all his life.
Was made Lucasian Professor at Caambridge University.

Sir Issac Newton is one of the greatest scientist/mathematician the world has ever known. There is entire/numours chapters dedicated to explaining his work and theories in every comprehensive physics textbooks. NASA will still use his equations to send objects into space. You cannot get away from the guy in G.C.S.E physics, almost the entire curriculum is about his work. Enough Said!!!!

The guy believed that our eyes emit beams to allow us to see things, and that's how light works. He got things wrong, too, which your Newton-infatuated teacher has conveniently forgot to mention. And he condemned people to hangings in his day-job. Hmmm...rest in peace...

convey a %of a rocket in area, it doesnt % an exterior tension to go as quickly as its already began moving. no1 could hv it, and united stateswill be unique.!!(besst exmple) or (from exterior source) evaluate a number of your reviews in an vehicle. have you ever observed the habit of coffee in a coffee cup crammed to the rim jointly as beginning a automobile from relax or jointly as bringing a automobile to take a seat down back from a state of action? coffee has a tendency to "save on doing what it is doing." once you improve up a automobile from relax, the line grants an unbalanced tension on the spinning wheels to push the vehicle forward; however the coffee (which became at relax) desires to stay at relax. jointly as the vehicle hurries up forward, the coffee keeps to be interior a similar place; subsequently, the vehicle hurries up out from below the coffee and the coffee spills on your lap. on the different hand, whilst braking from a state of action the coffee keeps forward with a similar speed and interior a similar direction, finally hitting the windshield or the sprint. coffee in action has a tendency to stay in action. have you ever experienced inertia (resisting adjustments on your state of action) in an vehicle jointly because it is braking to a stop? The tension of the line on the locked wheels grants the unbalanced tension to alter the vehicle's state of action, yet there's no unbalanced tension to alter your guy or woman state of action. hence, you proceed in action, sliding alongside the seat in forward action. a individual in action has a tendency to stay in action with a similar speed and interior a similar direction ... till acted upon by way of the unbalanced tension of a seat belt. sure! Seat belts are used to furnish secure practices for passengers whose action is ruled by way of Newton's rules. The seat belt grants the unbalanced tension which brings you from a state of action to a state of relax. consistent with possibility you ought to speculate what could ensue whilst no seat belt is used.
