I would like my son to join an organizations that teaches good values and does community service, but that is more tolerant of others (i.e. atheists and homosexuals). Any ideas?

Try Boys & Girls club of America (www.bgca.org)

If that doesn't interest you, check out volunteermatch.org...you might find some volunteer opportunities geared towards kids.

Hello:

Try the Boys & Girls Club.

Check with your local school to see if there are any youth groups that meet nearby.

Check the bulletin board at your local library.

Lots of sports teams available; soccer, football, baseball, basketball, martial arts, fencing.

If you are in a rural area, look into the Future Farmers of America (FFA), or 4-H.

There is a group called Rainbow Scouts, try an online search to see if you can find information about them.
