Elvis was in the Army, did his duty, as a regular soldier, without complaint.
John Lennon was never in any armed forces, and made up songs to make money, about the Soldiers in Vietnam, to supposedly be an influence in stopping the war. THAT didn't work did it? When has a "peace monger", (I shall put it that way, since Reps are called war mongerors by Libs) ever stopped any war? Jane Fonda didn't do it either. All I see is that these famous actors who try and make their opinions against America during war time known, are only hurting the troops and their moral.
Vietnam was a disaster, and one reason was so many Libs protesting and bring the morale of the Troops down.
Why are they doing it again to our Troops in Iraq again? Ah, because they hate America, and want us to lose. No way, Libs, I won't allow you to destroy America!
That's my opinion. What's yours?

Truly said by a patriot! Elvis, of course! No, we absolutely cannot let another Liberal president in office. As I've said before, It will tear the very fabric of this country apart. And God Bless our military young men and women fighting for
Democracy. I applaud them and not the likes of Amadinejad!

Down with Hillary Clinton, Sean Penn, Jane Fonda, Alec Baldwin, Mr. & Mrs Streisand and Sally Field and the other traitorous people who have the gall to call themselves American!!

Well, I don't think who wants peace want to destroy America. They are just people who think different than you... after all they are in a free country, aren't they? So they can speak and think freely. USA is not Cuba (luckily!!).

Forget Vietnam! now USA has to think in Venezuela. The venezuelan president Hugo Chávez is very dangerous to the free world. He is paying terrorists to destroy democracy in Latin America, and if it keep going, he will destroy America's freedom as well.

LOL yeah, libs protesting over here, was what dug all those tunnels to make it easier for those people, living in a climate none of our troops were used to, to kill our troops, without even being seen.

If terrorist hate us for our freedom, and we give up those freedoms for security, how is that victory?
Like usual, your logic is skewed, making it impossible to take your opinion seriously.

We lost in vietnam for the same reason the British lost here in 1783. and that is because those people, like Americans, were willing to fight to the last man woman and child to keep their current lifestyle rather than turn it over to the mercy of an invading force. that choice is what is called freedom.

You know, don't you, that Lennon was British and that Elvis was drafted and finished his tour (in Germany) long before the Vietnam war even began?

You seem to be saying that wanting our country to be at peace and getting angry when the government sends out troops into senseless wars is somehow anti American. How ridiculous is that?
