i need to know where the timing marks line up.the right and left cams have 2 dots top center on the housing which dots do i use. and which way does the crank keyway point (12 p.m.-3 p m. ?) serious answers only thank you

there is a mark for the crank on the oil pump housing, points to maybe 1 or 2 o'clock. on the cam dots, you go in between the 2 dots. you don't use either one. doesn't seem very exact, but thats how you do it. there is actually a procedure to lock the cams from the rear of the head to get the pullies on the cams exact so it will idle correctly, but noone ever does it. just make sure you turn the engine over 2 revolutions after you put it in time to make sure you have it correct.

You're cams have one mark on them and each one lines up between the two dots behind them on the covers. The crank gear has a mark and it lines up with a mark behind the gear on the front of the engine.
