as they say, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder," the same goes with music. Everyone has their own preference and taste. Vast majority of people that say "music today is just noise," are seniors or middle aged adults. Go figure, they grew up in time when music was more conservative sounding and in the area of "easy listening."
Ask a teen today about their parents or grandparents music, and the teen will say its crap. Ask the parents about their childs music, and they'll say its crap. Everyone enjoys what they love but not as tolerable about what others love. If i make any sense. :-)

I agree with that statement. I think the earlier music is sooo much better. I mean, I'm 16, and I think the 'today music' sucks. Not of all it, but most of it.

It is! Most of these "artists" talk about nothing of substance or even a real topic other than bling, cristal, bentley's and chicks! Look at one of the hottest songs out there now.......the Souljah Boy song (WTF?). Or how about the Baby Bash song Cyclone.......? Seriously, couldn't these guys just say we are not artists or musicians but people who make noise for you to dance to rather than classify them as people with talent.

a lot of entertainers have computer and instrument help and when they go live its not good at all vs a lot of old school singers sound as good a Capella as with instruments
