That would imply singing. They don't sing... all they do is speak quickly into a microphone. In the old days they called that auctioneering... lol..

Rap has been a form of music for almost 30 years. They speak some of the lyrics, but the chorus is usually sung. You can find that "fast speak" in almost every genre of music...from country to contemporary Christian. If you want to ask about "lyrics" look at William Shatner's spoken songs...now, that is not singing.
