The lower right side of my stomach hurts really bad. Like really sharp pains and hurts really bad. My friend said it could and probably is the appendix, and needs to be removed.
Do you think it is? Or what do you think? If it is, should I just head to the hospital or doctor?

That is usually accompanied by fever due to the infection. Be safe, go to the doctor and find out. Good luck.....

right side pain can be a sign of appendix trouble, it is usually has other symptoms such as constipation, diarrhea and fever...just feeling like poop. But if you are concerned and it seems that you are, you should probably seek medical advice immediately!
