I started university last Saturday. There's a girl on my corridor who hasn't got a laptop so asked if she could borrow mine.I said of course she could. I presumed she meant to use it in my room for a few minutes or so but instead she asked for my charger, internet wire and subsequnetly unplugged it from my room, went into her room and shut the door behind her! Now I needed the laptop so thought I would give her a few hours to give it back. After 6 hours I had had enough and knocked on her door. She said "what". I politely askedfor my laptop back only to get the reply "but I'm doing something on it"! I asked again and she said "alright but how long when you be? Half an hour be long enough?" I couldn't believe it she was acting like it was hers! I said an hour should be fine but after 10 minutes she knocked on the door and asked for it back. I gave it back to avoid confrontation but couldn't believe the way she was behaving!I have only just got the laptop back now after 5 days of being at Uni

I have put a lock on my computer and am never giving it back to her again. She is a loner and spends all the time on the internet instead of going out making friends like the rest of us

That's just rude. Don't ever let her borrow something again unless she says sorry for being such a freak!

Not really but it isn't crazy. I've meet people like this girl you've encountered. Guys and girls these people r just t..ts not worth it. I would advice get the laptop back and if she asks to borrow it again say sorry my sister has taken it as she needs it more, try someone in room 5. Pass her onto another victim.

Not Normal at all. Not surprised she has no friends, seems a bit of a user.... Tell her to get her own or go to a internet cafe

I don't think its normal behaviour, seems to me she is trying to use or abusing because you're a nice person.

1 first of all its you laptop, so if you don't want to give her, just tell politely, you can't give her a laptop because yours.

Some people are incredible! Next time she asks, just tell her you are doing something on it, and never let her use it again!

Don't be silly,, get it back then don't let her have it again,
imagine she drops it where will you be then, of course she will have the money to have it repaired or replaced , wont she????

Get it back and keep it, shes not worth it.
