i have an original windows xp cd but i dont have the key how can i format my pc please help me !!!!!!! pls need help

If the CD came with your pc, you will have a Windows XP tag on the pc with the key. If you are not running XP on the pc, you will have to purchase a license.

You need the key if you're going to re-install the OS; otherwise, you can go ahead and format your PC (hard disk) using your bootable CD, and after formatting it, you may stop, and you're done formatting.

Hi, u can download Magical Jellybean key finder software. Just search for it on yahoo or google. It will tell u ur product key so u can copy it down. Now just insert ur xp cd and restart ur computer and continue installing Windows.

u cant, the cd is encrypted on the cd. their is no way to find the key off the cd.
