I've been building my own site from scratch in HTML and just wanted to know how to put my "Website" "Logo Icon" in the "Address Bar" so that it proceeds it?(Just like the "Yahoo Q&A's" does!)

You will have to create the favicon based on the Microsoft specs when it comes to the size. Also keep in mind that favicon icon may not be supported in all browsers Such as Netscape,Safari, Konqurer, AOL, or Opera. For a long time it was only supported in IE.

You can get a decent Favicon generated for both the favorites menu and desktop icon at the following address.

http://tools.dynamicdrive.com/favicon/

You could have just emailed me directly for this area as I am on your contacts list.

You need to google "favicon" - That's what they're called.
You need to save the logo in the right format which can sometimes be a bit tricky but you can find software online to do that.
Good luck

This was someone elses answer to a different question but it will probably help

They're called shortcut, or page icons. The webmaster chooses the picture (s)he wants to use as the symbol, and references it using a tag.

For example, if you look at the source code for this page, you'll see:

The file "answers_favicon.ico" is the little green speech bubble with the white star in it. ^_^
