Mineral foundation, as well as flawless skin it is much better for your skin because it is natural so not chock-full of chemicals and toxins like most foundations, does not block your pores and does not harbour bacteria. It has concentrated pigments so you only need a light dusting of powder to cover like a liquid foundation (or add to jojoba oil) and it is better price-wise as a result as you don't need to use as much.

I use the foundation from Bare Faced Beauty, it's £14 for a 30ml jar (Equivalent of 3 – 4 Months Supply...much longer than what you're using now) and it covers very very well - it covers up all my spots without needing concealer, stops shine, and makes my skin glow.
L'oreal have decided to hop on board with mineral make-up as well, they brought out a mineral foundation themselves, I've got this one too but I find their application brush/tub is too messy. It's also a little bit heavier than the stuff I get from Bare Faced Beauty...but if you'd rather buy from somewhere like Boots or Superdrug rather than buy make-up online then I'd watch out for this one; http://www.walgreens.com/reviews/pwr/product-reviews/Mineral-Foundation/L-Oreal/p/prod2363296-Bare-Naturale-Powdered-Mineral-Foundation-Soft-Ivory.html

I can make a couple of suggestions. First, if you are using a good skin care product line, it will be much easier to achieve a flawless look with your foundation. You should wash your face morning and evenings, too, to keep your skin nice and clear. Make sure you use a toner (or splash or spritz with cold water to close pores), and follow with a moisturizer designed for your skin type. Use an exfoliate a couple of times a week, and always wear sunscreen.
Second, on to foundations... I have tried many types, but I have to say my favorite are mineral foundations. These are loose powders that can be brushed onto your skin. If you want fuller coverage, you can apply them to damp skin. I recommend you get a few colors, plus a "glow" shade (with a slight shimmer, if you want a dewy look) to mix and match your perfect shade. Plus, it's easy to use a lighter shade as a highlight. Au Naturel Glow has mineral makeup for cheap--like $8 per month for the smallest size.
I've also enjoyed some long-wearing makeup. Make sure it's oil-free, since this will stay on your face all day. I have tried BeautiControl's ColorFreeze makeup in the past--and this stuff will stay on even after a good workout. Just dust on some powder to freshen.
The number one key to a flawless look is to get the right shade of foundation for your skin. I'd recommend going to a professional makeup artist and talking about what you want your foundation to do for you. It might cost a bit more in the long run, but it's worth the investment!

Flawless skin comes from inside! BUT a custom made foundation is by far and away the best - worth every penny in the long run.

I use Lancombe. It is also the best. Unfortunately It is very expensive! First I apply Lancombe makeup ($35) with a cosmetic sponge. And then apply Lancombe absolute finishing power ($50) with a pad or usually a good cosmetic brush. It is very expensive but really worth it. It also last a long time. Don't buy it on line. I buy mine at Nordstroms department store where they match the tint with your skin tint. If the cosmetician knows what she is doing she will get a perfect color match. This is what makes it worth while. You should look into to it the next time you are at a high end department store. I'm sure you will see what I mean.

Well if you have flawless skin, why wear foundation?
But, the best foundation I have experienced is
1. Dream matte mousse.
- It isn't very heavy, and it doesn't look cakey. It goes on evenly and it has a smooth texture that you'll love. And it looks very natural!. Try it!
Also, try bare minerals.
- It looks natural.
-its free of preservatives, talc, oil, fragrance and other potential skin irritants
-its free of fillers and binders
-its weightless
-provides adjustable coverage—from light to full
-will improve the condition of the skin over time
To keep your good skin, make sure to wash your face morning & night. Try using- Clinique rinse- off foaming clenser. It is AMAZING. try it, and you'll love it.
I recommend you try those two foundations!
The source I posted will tell you all about bare minerals.
Check it out!

The skin on my cheeks is prone to redness I used to use green corrector stick and foundation over the top to correct this but since I started using maxfactor age renew foundation I found that my face stopped getting as red as much and it looks healthy and natural, age renew also clears imperfections in the skin, it looks smooth, feels it and smells nice to.

depends on your skin type...i find spending a little more money on a perfect base is a good investment.i have normal to dry skin and cant use anything but Chanel Vitalumiere......its gives me fresh gorgous skin like from models in magazine ....every penny of the £25 is worth it, i buy about 2 sometimes 3 a year...i thinkis worth it. they have Mat Lumiere for oilier skin, my sis uses this and swears by it. a lot of friends swear by MAC foundations, they are a little cheaper but still good, PLUS-----MAC is the ONLY counter where the girls dont workon commision and are all fully trained make up artists...so thet dont want to rip you off/lie to you just to make a sell. Good luck!!!
