I put them in for the first time at my eye doctor's office. Don't worry they'll show you how to put them in there. I didn't feel anything for the first time except amazement at how everything was so defined and clear lol. The first week was definetly the hardest. It will take a while to get the hang of them. Give yourself a lot of time to put them in until you get the hang of it so your not late. They don't bother me unless my allergies are bothering me or something like a little hair or dust gets on them. All you do is take them out and clean them wiht solution. I always keep a little bottle of solution and a contact case with me in my school bag and purse. They also will bother you if they get a rip in them, just throw it out though, no biggie. Contacts are amazing but they were a pain when I first got them to put them in. But don't give up because eventually you'll get the hang of it!!

It takes a little bit of patience and practice before you're 100% comfortable putting them in (and don't forget taking them out).
Make sure your hands are clean before you touch the lenses. Everybody has their own way of doing it, the easiest seems to be to put a lens on the tip of your index finger, look upwards, and place gently on the eye, bottom to top.
If they are a good fit, they should feel comfortable. If you leave them in a long time, your eyes will dry out a bit, that's normal and you can use rewetting drops. Some people are very prone to dry eye with contacts and you can get prescription drops if it's really bad.

It wasn't comfortable for me since I was wearing semi-hard contact lenses. After a week, it feels natural though you must make sure your eyes are always well moisturized - those eye moisturizers and drops are savers.
Always make sure the container is clean everyday, you must take the contacts off everyday before you sleep and some contact lenses can be used for certain duration (hours).
Be prepared to fork out money for cleaning and moisturizing the contact lenses as they must be kept in wet and clean condition in the containers.
Also, it depends on whether you are getting daily (disposable) contact lenses or monthly/yearly. Disposable is better for hygiene and conveniences - wear it, throw it at the end of the day.
Just don't get dust (even eyeshadow particles and fibre mascaras) into your eyes or you'll cry your eyes out! :)
Always have tissue and contact lense solutions with you at all times if you are afraid the contact lense would come out - you'll need to clean it before reapplying the lenses!

The hardest part is getting them into your eyes for the first few times, only because of the fear of touching your eye. Once you've mastered that, it's easy.
They can be a little uncomfortable when you first get them, because your eyes aren't use to it, but most of the time you don't even notice you're wearing them.
They can also be uncomfortable in the heat, because you're eyes can dry out, to soothe the pain you can buy eye drops, which moisten the contacts. They can be uncomfortable if you wear them for long periods of time, so if you're planning on wearing them all day, make sure you carry eye drops with you.
And most importantly, don't sleep in them.. I made that mistake once and it was quite painful when I woke up.
Good luck with them, you should be ok, just remember that they'll feel more comfortable when you're used to them, and clean them after EVERY use, they'll last longer.

the very first time i tried putting contacts in, it took me about 25 minutes. it was with my sisters contacts, which i can't even see with. haha.
when it was my own, it was a lot better. in the beginning, it took me a while. then, it was just a few seconds for each eye.
every once in a while, they get reallly annoying or irritate my eyes. but i think theyre still way better than glasses.
take them out every night! if you dont, you're eyes get so dirty and red.
they're great (:

sometimes like the fist few times they might be irritating so rub them softly while your eyes are closed. the contacts like need to be in a certain place to feel comfy. but after like a few days it feels so natural! but i dont wear contacts on the weekends or if im staying home because no one sees me expet my family so i just wear my glasses.

don't worry about it. lots of people have them, so it can't be all that bad! Most people I know have the hardest time getting used to touching (actually ALMOST touching) their eyeball!
it might take you a few days, but I have a feeling that you'll be glad you did it!
