What happened was. Otaku have been attacked by gangs.
It is called "Otaku Gari" (Otaku Haunting)
Otakus have lots cash when they go shopping at Akihabara and Otaku is usually weak people.
They are perfect targets for punks to get easy money.
Otaku started to carry a little weapons for self-defence.
Police go after the Otaku instead of punks who attack Otaku.
It is not fair for Otaku, isn't it?
