lim t→ 81 [(81−t)/(9−√t)]
= lim t→ 81 (9 - √t)(9 + √t) / (9 - √t)
= lim t→ 81 (9 + √t)
= 9 + 9 = 18

You made an error in the first step.
The first step should be
81 - t = (9+√t)(9−√t)
