Temperate zone of the northern hemisphere is pretty broad, starting at the tropic of cancer , roughly 23.5 degrees north latitude and extends to the artic circle, 66. 5 degrees north latitutde. Quick mental picture, from like mid-mexico to like mid alaska ( including most of canada).
