Christians are generally brainwashed that salvation means 'believing in' (they don't have a clue what that means) Jesus as the Son of God, or you will burn in hell after you are dead. (Apocalyptic rhetoric was added to his words by others in the New Testament.) Your being 'good and godly' is irrelevant to this kind of little mindedness.
Christianity has deteriorated into nonsense and the concept of enlightenment (Jesus taught ego-death/resurrection of authentic being as his version/way to attain it) is completely beyond them. Hopefully they are exposed to little broader view of reality and spirituality on this web site.

That should come from them, without prodding by others. Most christians push that all others are wrong until you believe as they do. Sundar and Sonia should be allowed to think for themselves. If christians are going to push they should teach them honestly about the history of what has been done in the name of God.

Hindus need to look and find flaws in their own society/system making such attempts successful. Casteism, untouchability, inequality, social injustice, customs like dowry, etc are some of the reasons. Though I don't justify attempts for conversion.
Personally I feel it is like continuation of a practice in ancient tribal culture, where different tribes (Kabeele) tried to increase their number by force. Only absence of violence makes a difference. But in another religion till a few decades ago, even violence had been practiced for getting such objective.

Hindu Sanat offers prayers to Hindu Gods which is unacceptable. If you wish to be
accepted then you have to pay obeisance to
a different God.Are you prepared to discard
your God like you would your old clothes?
As for your today's main question, are you not aware that proselytization is the main credo of
christians despite their averments to the contrary? They believe that one has to be true
to one's faith, religion and credo. What they fail to take into account is that the person whom they convert is a true turncoat who can flop as
well as he can flip. What we would consider as sin is a good deed as some people believe.Let
us be charitable and pray to our Lord to forgive them for they know not what they do.

I do not know why Sanat is so much worried.Almost 2000 years they were preaching the Hindus in India to get converted to Christianity-One benifit the Indians got was a number of Christian Hospitals.Schools,Colleges and a number of poor people got incentives, gifts from the money the Christian s collected from Rich Western Countries.Indians should be very thankful to Christians (like Mother Teresa) for that. The Christians were adopting very peaceful(Ahinsa) means of persuation only- unlike the other Religion who used Violence. But Hindus were very steadfast in their religious faiths. In 2000 years Christians could persuade only 2% of the Hindus to get converted to Christianity-- that too mostly in Kerala and North East tribal Areas. In the Hindi speaking Areas the result was 0%. One more thing:-India was under British(Christian) rule for 200years.Now a number of Christians are coming back to Hindu religion because Scheduled Caste Christians are NOT eligible(Constitutionally) for reservation in Government Professional(Medical /Engineering) college admissions and in Central/State Government jobs, because in Christianity there is no CASTESISM(???!!!!).In 1971 when smt.Indira Gandhi was Prime minister,Congress party got 67% majority seats in parliamaent .Two Cardinals in India (One in Bombay and the other Cardinal Pariakaattil of Kerala who are eligible to vote in Pope's election) with all other Bishops in India and lower rank Pastors met smt .Indira.Gandhi and requested for for constitutional Amenment. She warmly received them, patiently and respectfully heard them and did NOTHING--She knew that it would be Waterloo of her political career in Caste ridden Politics of India..

Unfortunately, they probably believe that the Gods we honor which are essentially one are illegitimate. I think it's unfortunate. God is God. I don't think it matters what form. You already know this about me. Best to you! Namaste
