Who are you? Your soul or your body? Who is the knower within you? Your self or your body? When you say, my hand, my legs, my eyes etc., you wrongly identify your body with your self or soul. similarly, you also wrongly identify yourself with your cloths, cars, and other material possessions. So what do you think? What are you, body or mind? In essence, you are just your mind only. But your mind is not disembodied as Plato says, to Decsartes disembodied mind. As Indian Philosophy says, care your body, which is the house of your mind for a better living of the miind, so you are a mind body comendium. There is no mind body dichotomy.

Most of the time. However, the government can make certain actions your body may want to do illegal. Some examples:
1. suicide
2. taking illegal drugs
3. euthanasia
4. intoxication e.g drunk and disorderly; DUI
5. self-maiming
6. abortion (in some places under certain conditions.)
7. underage sex
Some of these involve your body and the bodies of others, but some of them don't.
