After thinking about it, the jets and packers should be happy that the tapes were destroyed so their signals couldnt be leaked. Imagine being their head coach or owner. How pissed off would you be if your all your signals for the season could be viewed on Youtube?

your missing th point. I already know they are destroyed. Its just that a lot of people (pats-haters) think that the tapes were destroyed to cover the pats tracks. I am asking the Yahoo! Answers community if they think the NFl destroyed the tapes to cover the pats tracks or to keep the Jets and Packers signals secret.

The NFL destroyed the tapes so other teams wouldn't get their hands on them...They did it to discourage and end cheating...
