Broken off from where?
Under the car?
In the trunk?
Off a tire?
Under the hood?
Was it just laying on the ground?

If it hooks in to your black rubber vacuum hoses, you know it's a vacuum valve or control device so refer to the vacuum line diagram for the car. It could be an EGR DPFE sensor device for example on some newer cars. Maybe an http://www.haynes.com repair manual would help. Your local library has good free auto repair schematics and vacuum line diagrams. But the sure fire way to find out fast is to bring one into the Honda parts dealer and they'll know for sure.
