Especially Blacks looking down on other Blacks? Light skinned thinks they're better than the dark people, people with straighter hair thinks they're better than the people with coarse hair. Skinny thinks they're better than the fat people, etc. They're no better. We're all people, but different doesn't make you better.

I just cant stand America, I'd like to move really bad, its filled with ignorant racist naive close minded people, and since you're a Black girl, you know what I'm talking about.

While Christians are to defend the faith, (which many mistake as attacking others) we are to study and by studying, we can answer questions given to us by others, the new babes in Christ, those who have no belief, etc. In Isaiah He told the people to respect the king, evil though the bible calls him an evil king, we are all made in the image of God and that alone demands respect for others, yet its clear that this is not the practice of Christians or many who claim the title, yet scripture tells us that by our fruits we are known, thus they carry the name of Christ in vain. We are to teach, correct, witness and share the good news, and the warnings for that matter to those who will not hear sound words. Christ is love, and we are to be like Christ, that's the point of "Christ"ian. The bible does tell us that in the end days that the love of Christians would run cold, and we do in fact see that being the case. But it certainly can be done in Love, and with patience. In Christ brings divisions, and until he returns the denominations will continue, only in Christ do we have unity, and we know for sure when He turns we will have exactly that. This evil called denominations will be no more. Perhaps some don't take the bible serious when it warns about making a new person in Christ stumble, which could that not include by belittling and making others run from it also, if any of those happen to be cast into the lake of fire, the very same will have their blood on their hands to account for. The bible says if you hate your brother then it calls that person a murderer, and we know the fact of those if unrepented. I believe that those individuals need prayer, so that God will move upon their hearts to this hateful thing that they do, since many will listen. God Bless you.

the media also play a huge part
you'll notice 95% of commercial on tv are usually geared toward white people, sure there is progress, but not enough, the advertisers will claim they are only marketing toward their respective targets, when you do see minorities, as you note it tends to be light skinned, be it soaps, tv dramas and what not, the light skin it sought to be the ideal foisted by those in control of tv and the media, you do get some dark skinned people who have managed to break thru and make success full careers out of their lives ( Oprah comes to mind ) and it good that you have people like her ot serve as a positive role model, but the fact remains a lack of education and culture coupled with lack of self image and community coupling will only serve to make a community ignorant and thus have beliefs as the ones you face. And Jerry Springer does not exactly help the situation either by reinforcing stereotype about blacks and pregnancy, oddly enough there is the same arguement in every minority community, especially inside the hispanic where you have the dark verse light skinned, the spanish speaking verses the non spanish speaking, the only way to slowly over come it is to be yourself and be proud and strong, people repsect those with strong wills and good moral values

They main problem is ignorance. You can't change the world and how people think. I know exactly what you mean when it comes to light skin women and a lot of women that I know that are light skin are not pretty at all. Most of them are whores because they feel that every man wants them.
