Good Lord, no. They have a championship in the past 20 years. They constantly stay in the national scene (because they're from NY). Furthermore, the Cubs aren't cursed for the same reason...how is a team with Wrigley Field and all that fame for being "lovable" plus from Chicago cursed? Count your blessings Cubs fans.

Cursed? No.
Crushed? Maybe. You'd have to ask them.
Tryin' my best to interpret here.

Seriously, cursed? C'mon. Championship in the eighth season, another World Series four years later, another championship (with legendary last-second reprieve) 13 years after that, Subway Series at the end of the millenium -- where's the opportunity to curse? Curses heap bad luck upon a franchise; the Mets are where they are thanks to some bad decisions (why'd Randolph keep putting Mota out there? why is Green still playing at all?).

Bad baseball is not being cursed. Had something happen like that big apple thing falling and crushing your center fielder - maybe. But your third baseman not tagging a player, that is just bad baseball.
