The internet on my desktop's signal is very low.
I don't know why, considering the area it is in always recieves excellent signal.
Until yesterday, it has dropped to low, and now cannot even connect anymore.
I've tried moving it to a different location, made it only worse.
And there cannot be any interferences.
Please help!
Every computer but mine works!
I have two computers, where I switch the adapter to use the internet, and it's both low signal, where it should be excellent!

Details:
Modem: Westell Versalink 327W
Adapter: Wireless given by BellSouth.
Operating System: Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005

You might want to test your signal strength if you are a BellSouth/AT&T customer. You get the link from the Support section from your AT&T My Accounts page. Also, you might want to cycle your wireless modem. Also, you may want to think and see if you have anything causing any kind of interference in the room that you are in that was not previoulsy there because that can interfere as well. Hope any of this helps you!

Here are some tips:

What has changed? Such as: Has anyone else connected to the wireless network?(every additional connection halves the available bandwidth per user). Have you moved your desk or room or even desk setup? Has something been placed between you and the router/AP?

Is someone running software that is hogging bandwidth? Some software is not obvious and may run in the background, typically p2p. News tickers, skype, connected palmtops and online storage are also an issue in offices.

Is someone piggybacking on your wireless? check the connected devices on your router/AP.

Is your router on your storage? that must be the priority. in case you progression the router to interior your place in a region the place there must be much less interference, it is greater effective.
