I sold my XS11 several years ago, but at the time, there was a pretty active owner's forum, complete with tech help at this web site... ( http://www.xs11.com/ )

I believe you can still buy service manuals for this bike from Haynes. These service manuals should have wiring diagrams for you bike. ( http://www.haynes.com/ )

Go to ebay and enter yamaha and xs1100 in the search field. You'll find manuals and a whole lot of other stuff listed.
The best thing I ever did for mine was to replace the 80 carbs with a 79 set. They made the jets too small and made the carbs run too lean in 80 trying to meet new emissions laws.
