If I ask a yes/no question, I expect to get a yes/no answer.

i prefer it if people put a little thought into it if i get a yes/no answer,i think there not interested in the question and just answering for the two points.... :)

Yes, well, I feel like somone is in a hurry to build their points or they just don't have anything else to say. How do you feel when you get hateful emails from troll strangers? My answer is I feel offended, to both.

its a bit irritating coz you want a proper answer to your question... something in depth that makes you think about the question you have asked

but with experience on y/a, if you have been on the site for hours, well you kind of lose the will to want to answer questions properly so i have, many of times just written yes or no

if it is a yes i am happy, but i only get a tincy bit upset when somebody says no and adds a rude comment. i think that some people should stay away from certain questions when they know that they do not like what the question is about. kind of like that one chic anyanswer!! just kiddin!!! hope i helped!!!♥jessiep♥

It depends on what you ask..but most people would agree that most people like a more detailed answer than yes or no.

I wouldn't care. I try to ask questions where yes/no wont work as an answer.
