Yes , I have a dog and a cat. I found the cat as a stray. She has to stay outside till I move to my own place because my family member is allergic.
The dog loves the cat and never chases her but if the neighbors cat comes on the property chases him just to the property line. So she knows her property and stops at it.She owns the yard and house and she only lets HER cat on it.

My cat sure does! He thinks he can do what he wants when he wants! He jumps up on the bed in the middle of the night and tries to take over my side of the bed! He is an older cat though! I still love him all the same though!

My dog has arthritis, however, even she was a pup, she wouldn't move out of the way. Same with my cats. You'll have to step over them or wait until they get off the couch or chair. If you don't, you get scratched up and/or the cats will stare at you all day.

Yeah. My cat sharpens her claws on my bed when she wants out (she has the bottom of my bed shredded) and I have to leave the bathtub drip because that's how she drinks water. When she wants in, she kneads the screen on the front door or kitchen window, so those are shredded too.

Well my lazy Rottie just plops down and falls asleep where ever, and it always seems to be RIGHT in the way...The doorway, behind my computer chair....And believe me, it's not easy to maneuver around a 140 lb. Rott.

Yep...my dog has been in the family for nearly 10 years, so she pretty much thinks she does.

My babies do own the place, they are just kind enough to let us stay here and feed them all the goodies they want, take them on their daily walks and make sure they stay healthy, their spoiled rotten but I can't complain...I spoiled them.
