Why afetr 15 years of marriage do you have to prove to her you love her? Is she insecure? 15 years of marriage should give you both an indication. My own view after 28 years of marriage,that`s not been easy mind you is to never let the romance go & never take each other for granted. I still after all these years feel as much for my wife now as i always have.
Also the importance of being great friends is something i believe in,to be able to talk is a great thing in life,so even when the chips are down your friendship will often carry you through,& always be prepared to listen.Mind you the odd bunch of flowers or box choccies doesnt go amiss.Just enjoy life & each other.

Listen. Then "show" her that she was heard. Do you know of something she's wanted for a while? Something she admired but passed up? If so, get it? Something she likes? bubble baths? candlelit dinners? Dancing? Do it. YOU do it. Don't go buy food and candles, then make her cook or clean! These types of efforts do not usually get ingnored or taken for granted by women. You cannot go wrong by meeting their needs and satisfying some wants.
I should have known it was over when my ex bought a 20th anniversary card for me, but never signed it, put my name on it or the envelope. As a matter of fact he didn't even place the card in the envelope, just got out of the truck and threw the plastic bag at me that contained the untouched card and envelope. The running joke among friends and family was that he was recycling, planning to use it year after year. I felt so..... cherished! LOL.

Honey, if you're having to ask this question after 15 years of NOT showing her you still love her, then you are 15 years too late. You should have been showing her love from day one. Grow up and learn to be kind to the people who are in your life. Stop being selfish. Stop looking at other women and thinking they're better than what you have. That might help your marriage, but it might be too late.

I would contact the local Humanist group and explain that you would like to celebrate your love and marriage with a simple but dignified ceremony and see what they can do for you. If you think there is a ceremony that might fit the bill, then you can ask your wife to join you in the celebration. I believe that if you have made enquiries and looked into the matter, that might be enough to convince her - but encourage her to celebrate too. Its a wonderful life! Good luck.

Give her a lot of love and show in your actions. If you haven't been giving her affection then do it. Do what's in the heart. You can buy her flowers but money can't buy love. If I were married and my husband wanted to show me that he still love me it would be communication, affection, and spending more time together. Include her on what your doing whatever it may be. Renew your vows in marriage.

Show her compassion at all times even when you don't feel like it. I women needs to be shown attention even when you don't won't to give it. Show interest in her thoughts, and passion towards her feelings. I think the worst thing in a marriage is when the husband loses his motivation for his wife. So stay motivated! Good luck!

Do something extra special but do it in front of alot of people, maybe with family there or at her place of work. Take the biggest bouquet of flowers to her place of work and tell her how much you love her in front of all her friends. Do the old Richard Gere bit where he dresses up in a white navel uniform it would work for me. Good luck honey. Wish there was more men like you.

Does she feel you no longer love her? Treat her to a day at the spa and then stay in a nice hotel for the night. Have flowers and a card/gift waiting in the room. Take her to an intimate restaurant for dinner and take that opportunity to tell your wife how much she means to you. End the night in a very romantic way.

Even after 15 year of married life, If she cannot understand or realise that you love her, she is not at all suitable for you. And some ladies are such a kind that, even if a jewel is on her hand and she knows that is a jewel, she will abuse it till she realise that it is lost or going to be lost. That is their nature. Better don't waste your time to put water on a pot that kept upside down.

if you ask " how can I prove" then you must have done something wrong to disprove your love in the first place.
Sometimes if a person doesn't love themselves (your wife)then she may have a hard time accepting the love. IF she is not feeling the love from you, you need to ask her what she needs or wants from you so she can feel the love again.. Look at it from her eyes not yours.... but Romance is great!
