To be shacled by pride because i don't want to be restrained of my personal dignity and worth. You see i valued self-respect on me. This i think is one of the most important in life. If this restrained my ego then my principle is lost in a sense. I would rather be chained of my fate but not the former.

Thanks to your question. Have a great day!

My answer is nobody can be chained by fate but you can be shackled by your pride :Fate is whatever you do is ultimately called it was bound to happen so it happened and you have no choice to say anything otherwise as anything you choose to do it will be said it was fate wheras pride can have strong shackle on human beings ,you need lot of humilty to break free and it is the worse of the evil as the saying goes "Pride comes before a fall"naturally because you are strongly shackled by your pride --and prejudice .wheras fate always keeps you free from everything as you are born free .

definitely being 'shackled by your pride'...
fate, if u believe, is universal and as a mere mortal we r bound by it whether we like it or not..nor do we possess the ability to dictate it...
Pride however is our own doing.. we not only posses authority over it but the are the very root of it.. i feel inspite of having the control over one's pride, if we remain shackled to it, that is the worst that can be..

to be shackled by pride, of course...
if you are chained to your fate, then you cannot do anything to change it.. but you could prevent being shackled by pride...

so being not able to prevent something which could be prevented is worse...

I have no pride. So I guess I am chained to my fate.

Neither are bad. Fate if u believe in it is something u simply cannot avoid so live life freely and take it as it comes. pride is a good thing to have in moderation. without it we'd all be depressed.

Chained by fate is worse to me. Unable to change your future seems more a cause for despair than being too proud of yourself or of something.
