Kidney Stones. Felt like something was being drilled into my side and twisting.
I have also had a tree fall on my head, but I was intoxicated so I wasn't in too much pain until the next morning when half of my head was swollen and my neck was jammed. The pain by that time had subsided some by then. But the kidney stones never let up and passing them was almost as painful.

Kidney stones! They were actually worse than childbirth. It felt like someone had a knife in my side and was slowing twisting it around and around. At least with childbirth, you have flashes of intense pain, then a bit of relief before the pain comes again (contractions), but the pain from kidney stones was constant and unrelenting (until the morphine kicked in).

When I had some cuts on my head's skin, got stitches and then had to get them removed. The most painful part was the removal. I was 6 yrs old then and remember so clearly like it was yesterday

Broken wrist after surgery to put it back together, could not believe that a little thing like a wrist could hurt that much.
