He was surprised to see that black people eat like everyone else and don't cuss and swear when they go out to eat. I didn't beleive it untill I heard it myself. Bill said he was taking out of context but, has not aired the full statement in it's full context on his show. He also said blacks are starting to think for themselves. OMG blacks have always been capable of thinking for themselves. Is this because he THINKS conservatives just listen to him and follow what he says without thinking for themselves. I would love for hiom to say that on the air.

I would think Fox would not WANT racist on their channel. We know that Fox caters to rasists and Bill O will get a raise after this. It is about network standards

Desert fired or quit what ever you want to call it. He is no longer on that station. If CNBC thought it was ok they could have kept him on. Also if Bill O was takin out of context and did not say these things He should release the whole statements or whole show so people can see if that is true. What is he hiding.

Probably won't happen since it is Fox News and the unfortunate part is probably something he voiced for many conservatives.

Kinda like Barbara Bush the grandmother and former first lady , not the daughter, who commented when Katrina hit that moving to Houston was probably a step up for most of the people in New Orleans.

The bigotry may not rise to the surface often but it's still there.

OK...put down the Kool-Aid and pay attention.

I listened to the radio Factor segment on racism. His comments were completely taken out of context. He was making the point to racists who are afraid of blacks shouldn't be since they are like the rest of us. I heard this unedited, and if you go to his website you can hear the segment in its entirety, unedited.

What's happening here is character assassination, plain and simple. We've gone so far with political correctness that it's just amazing how ridiculous it is. I find it ironic that black people can use N-bombs to describe themselves, yet I'm sure I'm would get painted a racist by braindead idiots just because I considered using that word. If you're black or white and you use that word to describe someone...you are an ignorant person. PERIOD! Imus couldn't call people "hos" but it's OK for rappers to use that word? That makes them as stupid as Imus for using that word then.

People like the Revs. Jackson and Sharpton want to be the only voices for blacks. That's why they go out of their way to marginalize people like Bill Cosby (who spoke the truth about what's going on within the black community). Heck, they even have people question whether Barack Obama is either "black enough" or want to go after people like Juan Williams or Tony Brown...two very prominent black journalists who don't toe the line they're supposed to.

Racism pisses me off. But there are people out there who need to stop playing the race card. If you want things to be more equal, than take the hits you ask us to. And be prepared to discuss the whole situation on race issues and views, not just the ones you want to spout.

I can't believe I'm in the position of defending O'Reilly. Well, not really. There is a difference between Imus and O'Reilly. Imus and his producer used some ugly language to describe these young women. I'd be calling for the head of anyone who used that expression. O'Reilly--from what I heard--came across as a bonehead at best when he expresed surprise at how polite and well behaved the patrons and employees of Sylvia's are. I don't know what "I couldn't get over the fact" is supposed to mean other than he was surprised. I don't know if he really is a racist. Perhaps he's one of those old views die hard type of guys who is trying to overcome his internalized racism. I don't know.

HaHaHa! A perfect example of reverse racism. Here we go again with another liberal activist claiming that if you disagree with their ideology, then you must be racist:
1)liberals don't really have double standards
2) Jessie Jackson's exploiting his own people with race baiting is OK because he's on the liberal team.
3) Al Sharpton perverting Dr King's message is OK- Dr King preached God's word, bringing people together not fanning the flames of racial conflict- which Al and Jessie both do!
4) Imus said nothing in comparison to rappers, race baiters and black comedians, not even close.

You don't like O'Reilly because he embarrasses reverse racists, liberals, socialists and other low lifes.

Your sense of rage seems to have blocked out the cells in your brain which do basic research. Don Imus was never fired by CNBC. He never worked for them. He was fired by a radio station which did employ him. His radio broadcast was simulcast on TV each day by MSNBC, a cable channel.
Since Mister O'Reilly has not aired the entire segment concerned from his radio show, and you apparently have not heard that entire segment, I find it very curious that you would level a charge of racism against him. You should contact the court system in your area and insist that you be taken off any future assignment to jury duty. Because you would be a lousy juror!

If you don't like O'reilly then don't watch him. It's as simple as that. Blacks sit by their tv and wait and hope and pray that someone white makes a statement that they don't like. That is what sharpton and jackson do on a daily basis. O'reilly made a statement that is true. Let's face it. I don't hear anyone calling for the head of BET to be fired for their disgusting, racist language and beliefs. blacks say they are offended, I call it selective, convenient immature bullsh*%.

Imus shouldnt have been fired and neither should Orielly.
If we are going to fire people regarding racial comments lets go through the countless TV sitcoms with black people making jokes about whites and start firing them as well.
