Why would people need to break you? but assuming your neighbors are creeps or you don't like your relatives, remember theses words my grandmother told me when I asked her how she survived among a harsh business world when she was widowed and never remarried. She said she kept saying "Everyone is an asshole except me!!" And she never took the smile from her face. Hope this helps, Happy Halloween. Just relax, just don't marry someone who tries to break you. That isn't what life is about.

I doubt most people could resist all attempts to break them. Until a person is subjected to the worst imaginable situation, there is really no way to know what you could tolerate.

It reminds me of the last scene in the movie Braveheart where he is tortured to make him recant his call for Scottish freedom. He knew he would die even if he did, but he endured being disemboweled rather than give in for a merciful death. That was an exceptional act of courage.

Harry Potter tries to discover this resolve in Order of the Phoenix. He literally has to keep an evil spirit from entering him and possessing him. First he had to learn to be calm, to keep his emotions stable, not to "go off" at everything unexpected. I would like to learn this too. It seems to be one of those things that can only come from within.

Study the masters. I hate to say it but its usually a result of the accumulation and overcomming of more bad times than anyone you know or anyone trying to down you.

peace

There is nothing stronger than your faith in God, and Jesus. With the knowledge, and faith in Them, you can conquer the world. When we obey our Father, and His Son, They always give us the strength to beat and destroy our adversaries
